Baptism is meant to display one’s commitment to faith publicly. Baptism is a Sacrament because it means God’s presence blessing the person and welcoming them to a life of faith.
Many parents decide to perform Baptism on their infants or their children. Other parents prefer to wait for their children to grow and be able to make the decision themselves, so, they are baptized during their teenage years, young adult years, or even during their adult time.
SCHEDULING A BAPTISM
Baptism must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance of the desired baptism date. Please, remember that the officiant needs to confirm on his availability for the day you are requesting the Baptismal Service.
REQUIREMENTS FOR REQUESTING A BAPTISM
-
Parents need to complete the Baptismal Registration Form (the link can be found at the end of this page).
-
Parents will send an email with a copy of the child’s birth certificate (a pdf can be sent to: sacraments@sraministries.org).

the Godparent Baptismal Registration Form / Family Information.
BAPTISM FEES
Some may be asking how much to pay for a baptism. There is no fee because the Church does not charge for the sacramental celebration. Families often donate the presider on their child's Baptism day as a thank-you for his time.
Please consider donating to the presider for his time, preparing the ceremony, scheduling the conversation with parents and godparents, traveling distance to the Baptismal location, using church equipment, processing forms, clerical work, etc. Thank you for your understanding!
